Reading, Pa. (Jan. 23, 2012) - Junior Melissa Fellenbaum (Mount Joy, Pa./Hempfield) was named the Middle Atlantic Conferences' Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week for the second straight week as announced by the conference on Monday morning.  This is the third weekly conference honor for the Crusader Track & Field teams.

Fellenbaum won the pole vault with a jump of 3.50m at the Collegeville Indoor Classic.  She has the best mark in the MAC by 1.5' and the third best jump in NCAA Division III this season.  With her jumps so far this season, she has already passed last year's NCAA provisional mark.

Fellenbaum and the rest of the Crusader Track & Field team will return to action this weekend with some athletes competing Friday night at Muhlenberg College and some competing on Saturday at the University of Delaware.
