Chester, Pa. (Feb. 4, 2012) - The Women's Track and Field team was back in action on Friday and Saturday this week at the Widener Indoor Invitational and Frank Colden Invitational at Ursinus College.
Melissa Fellenbaum (Mount Joy, Pa./Hempfield) led the way again for the Crusaders winning the pole vault events at both meets.

Bridget Verdel (Hamilton Square, NJ/Notre Dame) set a seasons best with her third place finish in the vault on Friday night. Sophomore
Amanda Searle (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Regional) earned two more top ten finishes in the throws with her ninth place finish in shot put and tenth place finish in the weight throw.
Sophomore
Erin Verdon (Washington, NJ/Warren Hillas Regional) reset her own school record in the 400m dash with her eighth place finish at the Frank Colden Invitational. Verdon also earned a seventh place finish in the 60m dash, narrowly missing the final by less than .1.
The Crusaders travel back to Collegeville on Friday for the Ursinus College Open. The Track events start at 3pm with the field events beginning at 4pm.
