Reading, Pa. (Feb. 12, 2012) - The Crusader throwers went to the Albright Invitational Saturday morning to compete in the weight throw.  The women throwers placed all three throwers in the finals of the event, finishing in the top six.  Sophomore Amanda Searle (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Regional) led the way with a second place finish with a throw of 11.90m.  Freshman Rachel Heisler (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) finished fourth with a mark of 11.22m and Jazmyn Vega (Reading, Pa./Holy Name) earned her MAC Championship mark in the event, placing 6th with a huge lifetime best of 10.48m.

On the men's side, sophomore Dillon Emery (Locustdale, Pa./North Schuylkill) earned a sixth place finish, with a throw of 11.07m.  Freshman Joshua Streeter (Paoli, Pa./Great Valley) narrowly missed the final, finishing eighth with over a three foot personal best, which also earned him a MAC Championship qualifying mark.
