Day 1 Results

Troy, NY (May 17, 2012) - The Crusader Men's and Women's Track and Field team travelled to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Ned Harkness Track & Field to compete in the ECAC DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships today.  Junior Melissa Fellenbaum (Mount Joy, Pa./Hempfield) was the top Crusader finisher as she placed fourth in the Pole Vault with a jump of 3.70m.

Brandon Young (Baltimore, Md./Loyola Blakefield) finished eighth in the Triple Jump with a leap of 12.60m, and Tyrone McCloud (Lindenwold, NJ/Lindenwold) missed out on the 100m finals with his pace of 11.23sec in the preliminaries.

Alvernia action at the ECAC Championships continues tomorrow with both Brian Nerney (Middletown, NJ/Red Bank Catholic) and Karlee Kominsky (York, Pa./Northeastern) competing in the High Jump.
