Six Pennsylvania athletes have been named to the 2012 Track & Field News All-America team, including four recent graduates and two rising seniors. Leading the list is 2012 World Junior 400 meter hurdle champ Eric Futch of Penn Wood, now a freshman at the University of Houston. (see news release). Joining him on the team are South Park's Billy Stanley (#2 in the Javelin now at Ohio State); Reading's Imani Brown (#5 in the triple jump now at University of Alabama); Homer Center's Angel Piccirillo (#5 in the mile now at Villanova); Fort Cherry grad Jessie Merckle (Fort Cherry) now a freshman at Wake Forest (#3 in the javelin); and the class of 2013's Christine Streisel, Tamaqua, (#2 in the javelin); and Chambersburg's Marshay Ryan in the triple jump.
