4/19 - William Penn turns out the competition

The rain had stopped and the sun came out early as the Philly-area warm-up for the Penn Relays. William Penn tuned out the competition, taking the 4x100 in 47.44 and the 4x400 in 3:52.72 (Kandis Worthington, 59.5, Christina Smith 58.2, Kneshia Sheard 58.3, Juanita Broaddus 56.8). Broaddus had her right hamstring wrapped. She apparently tweaked a hamstring at the Morgan State Relays in the 200. "She raced smart today. She knows what 90% means, and she did that." said head coach Tim Hickey. Broaddusshould be totally ready for the Penn Relays this week.
