Bill Homer of St. Joseph's Prep, won the Long Jump (20' 4 1/2") and Triple Jump (41' 3"). BobMcDade, Cardinal O'Hara, set a new meet record in the discus 159' 8" breaking the mark of GeneStickley (Bonner 5/90) who happened to be one of the officials. McDade also took the Shot Put with a throw of 51' 8 1/2". Tim O'Neill, St. Joseph's, set a new mile run record of 4:22.8c breaking SeanDuffy's, Cardinal O'Hara, record of 4:24.2. Vince Gravelle, O'Hara, set a new 3200 m run record of 9:38.9. O'Neill's 9:40.9 also broke the old record of 9:42.0 set by Brendan Benner, Bonner.
