His 47-06 Shot Put and 132-00 Discus won him district championships, while his 173-05 Javelin was 2nd to GeorgeChilders of Shade. Bedford's John Marshall took two events, the 200 in 23.76 and the Triple Jump with a 41-08.50 effort. In girls' competition, lots of double winners: Ashley Hartman of Berlin, 12.99 100, 27.57 200; Sheena Smith, Northern Bedford, 16.83 100 Hurdles, 48.86 300 Hurdles; Steph Blackstone, Everett, 5:34.05 1600 and 11:57.29 3200; and Vanessa Housel, Meyersdale, 115-10 Javelin, and 15-07.25 Long Jump.
