How much did Pennsylvania's distance runners improve on the girls side this spring?
We looked at how PA's top girls distance runners in the 800, 1600, and 3200 meters. Bethel Park's Emily Carter (above) dropped over 29 seconds in the 1600 meters since last season, and though she didn't have a 3200m time in the database from a year ago, she clocked a quick 10:16 in the event this spring.
Note: These list include only FAT times in the MileSplit database. An athlete must have performances in the database from both the 2018 and 2019 seasons. Only included are athletes that showed improvement in the respective since last season.
