We will take the top 10-12 milers into the Elite section of the HS boy's mile. The other elite events will be open and may have a mix of professional, college and high school athletes. There will be prize money for the pros in those races. Here is the link to the new schedule: http://runccrs.com/results/?page_id=31&event_id=541 We'll try to get out details on the fields early next week. It's been a fun event over the last couple of years.

The elite 800m is shaping up really nicely. It looks like 2-3 guys already entered who are legit sub 1:49 guys. We'd love to see a Cho, Manley, Magaha matchup with everyone fresh. The pacemaker will take it through 500 in 1:05. The women's elite 800m is also shaping very nicely. 5-6 under 2:10. Wouldn't it be nice to see some of those 4 x 8 runners in that running fresh? The other races are shaping up pretty nicely. I'll get out more details tomorrow. Weather looks good.

@Kkelly if there are enough entrants, will there be multiple heats of the 800 like last year?

Jacob-We'll have to see. We'll definitely have the regular 800m. I will know more after tonight about who is in the field of elites. It looks like sub 1:52 to be in the elite race. We'll check the entries to make sure they are legit there. We may make a change or two to the schedule.

entries close on Friday morning. We'll post the elite section entries during my lunch period. Right now, the meet is looking pretty good. We could see a women break 2:00 in the 800. The men's elite 800 is very deep and fast. As of now, we have about 25 at 4:31 or better in the mile. The elite 1500 is being paced at 2:00-2:01. They want a pace of 52.0 in the men's 800.

I see that there is only an elite men's 800 and a general 800m will that be coed based on seed time or will there be a separate heat for women?

Im excited! i really enjoyed this meet last year and this year seems way better! you guys are awesome, i think there is a need for more open track meets like this. i know of the ones at millersville but they almost quit those this year, i hope you guys continue to have this meet and even more!
@Kkelly Will there be a rabbit for both elite heats of the 800?
@mgarrity I am think that the (p) after some of the names means pacer, so that would mean only the second mens 800 heat has a pacer
