Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup 2012

Men's track and field sophomore Noel James was named the BIG EAST Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. The Whitman, Mass. native earns this week's accolade after capturing first place in the high jump at the Penn State Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup with a leap of 2.21m.

Both Nittany Lion track and field squads turned in team titles to highlight an outstanding day of performances at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup, Saturday at Ashenfelter III Indoor Track. (via www.gopsusports.com)
