SUMMER 2012 GERMANTOWN ACADEMY
ALL-COMERS TRACK & FIELD MEETS

NEWLY-CONSTRUCTED CAREY STADIUM & ATHLETIC COMPLEX
340 MORRIS ROAD FORT WASHINGTON, PA 19034 (convenient to PA Turnpike Exit #339)
MEETS SANCTIONED BY USA TRACK & FIELD
*ALL AGES WELCOME*
BSS 100 six-lane 400m track and jump runways. Two shot put circles, two high jump venues, two long jump/triple jump pits, and two pole vault boxes (pits can be moved so wind at vaulters back). Shot Put and Discus thrown from concrete. Javelin thrown from grass. Short spikes only ( max). FULLY AUTOMATIC TIMING. Separate heats/flights for athletes 14-and-older and 13-and-younger. Concessions available. All proceeds benefit Germantown Academy athletic facilities.
REGISTRATION: Except for hurdlers, registration is Day-of-Meet Only (opens at 4:45 pm): $10 - one event; $5 each additional event; relays are free. Discounts available for youth teams who provide volunteers (contact either Meet Director one week before meet). In order that the hurdle events run efficiently, ALL HURDLERS MUST PRE-REGISTER BY CONTACTING EITHER MEET DIRECTOR BY SUNDAY BEFORE MEET (pay at the meet).

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Track Events (14-and-older heats followed by 13-and-younger heats)
5:45pm: Mile Racewalk (unjudged). 6:00pm: Sprint Hurdles (80/100/110m).
Rolling starting times beginning at 6:15pm: 100m (60m for 13-and-younger hand timed), Mile, 400m,
Long Hurdles (200/300/400m), 800m, 200m, 3000m, Relays (upon request and time permitting).
Field Events (Max 4 Throws/Jumps, except for HJ and PV; Competitors must supply their own implements)
6:00pm: Discus, Javelin follows Discus, Shot Put follows Javelin.
6:00pm: High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump (open pit until 7:30pm), Triple Jump (open pit from 7:45pm).
