**** New Entry Procedure ****

Entry Instructions Using MileSplit Online Registration:

1.     If you have not created a MileSplit userID, you will need to do so before you can register your team. There is no charge for this userID. Click “Register” in the header of any MileSplit page. If you already have a userID, go to step 2.

2. To register your team roster using the MileSplit system, you must be a team administrator, OR, claim your team as a coach. Again, there is no charge for this. In order to sign up as team admin OR coach, you go to your team page on the MileSplit state site (http://pa.milesplit.us/ (or your state's site if not from PA), and at bottom of the right margin, you'll see – “Sign up as team admin”. OR, at the top, click “Claim This Team”, and then click either Coach OR Site Administrator. Once you do that and are approved (usually within the hour) - you will receive a confirmation email and you'll be set to go to step 3.

3. Log-in using your userID, go to your team page, and you will see a “Team Manager” link. Click and then you are in Admin mode. Click “Roster” on the left hand toolbar. Enter or update your roster, adding any new athletes. To move previously entered but graduated athletes to Alumni, simply add their graduation year and hit refresh. If you find duplicates, simply email those names to don@penntrackxc.com. (Duplicates occur when meet results from previous seasons have different spellings, etc.). You can also remove athletes from either the XC or the Track roster by clicking the check box for specific athletes, and then the appropriate button at the top of the roster page. When entering the meet, this will then only show that season's roster on the meet entry page. You can go back to the team page at any time and make modifications. Spend a little time on your team page to see what other tools are there for you to use.

4. Now it's time to enter the meet. Go to the season calendar and click on the green meet registration button of the meet you want to enter.  Then follow the instructions for entering your team into the meet, and then adding names to the events.
