ENTRIES All entries will be done via DirectAthletics. Entry deadline is Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at 11:59 PM. No additions/changes/substitutions after the deadline. Only scratches please.
ENTRY LIMITS 4 individuals per school/per event; 2 relays per school/per event; 4 events per athlete.
ENTRY FEE $175 per team (boys & girls are separate teams), or $20 per relay or individual competitor. This is an entry fee, not a participation fee. Make checks payable to WCU Track & Field and mail to the address below, or bring with you on meet day.
AWARDS T-Shirts to the first place finisher in each individual event & relay.
FACILITIES The Farrell Stadium outdoor track is an eight-lane Mondo surface with FinishLynx timing. 14 pyramid spikes only. Starting blocks will be provided. All jumping events will be contested on the Mondo surface inside the stadium. Shot Put will take place inside the stadium. The Discus is on the north side of the Sturzebecker Health Science Center, adjacent to the stadium (next to the softball field). Javelin will take place on a field adjacent to the stadium. Javelin will be thrown off a grass runway.
FIELD EVENT Horizontal jumps & throwing events will be three jumps/throws, no finals.Starting Heights (subject to change based on weather conditions and field size):Girls HJ (4-00); Boys HJ (5-00); Girls PV (8-00); Boys PV (9-00)
PARKING There is sufficient parking for cars, vans, and buses in the lots below the stadium. Please refrain from parking in the lot in front of the stadium and above the stadium (next to the health science center).
