Friday September 2, 2016
Varsity race is in relay format, teams must be grouped in 4 person teams. Each team may have two relay groups per gender. Scoring will be based on the lowest total time by a relay team. Varsity Extra race is an open two mile race and is unlimited.
The names of the runners in each relay must be emailed to jsnyder@punxsy.k12.pa.us by August 28th.
Awards:
Varsity 1st and 2nd place team receive medals per gender. Top 10 individuals based on their splits receive medals per gender.
Varsity Extra-Top 10 individuals in the Varsity Extra race receive an award per gender.
Concession Stand and T-Shirts: Full array of food items and t-shirts being sold. T-shirt cost is $15.
Timing:
Event will be timed by Gingerbreadman Running Co.using ChampionChip technology or race numbers. Results will be posted on the internet at pa.milesplit.com on the day of the race and at finish line for coaches.
