Butler, Warrior, Abington, and Ship dominated a busy weekend!
The Friends' Central girls looked very strong on Friday evening at the annual Abington Jack Armstrong Invitational. The Phoenix were locked in a good battle with Penn Wood (which didn't include some of its top half milers) in the 4x800 meter relay.The two teams exchanged the lead and went back-and-forth. In the end, the Gabrielle Wilkinson-anchored FCS took the win in a PA#1 time of 9:20.29. Penn Wood was second in 9:25.73, making for one of the days' best battles.
