Meet Information
This meet is open only to schools in the SOL American Conference.
Coaches:
The coaching staff of Hatboro Horsham Track & Field would like to extend you an invitation to the SOL American Last Chance Meet on Monday, May 8, 2017. Please let me know ASAP if you will or will not be attending. We would like to get the field events underway at 4:00 and the running events at 4:30. There will be a coaches meeting at 3:45.
Please note the following:
You are allowed THREE athletes per individual event and two relay teams per event. Please read #4 about standards for a 3rd athlete.
spikes are permitted for all runners, jumpers and vaulters. The javelin has a does have a runway.
We are once again asking coaches to help officiate the meet, especially with the field events.
Online entry for the SOL American Last Chance is open on PennTrack, http://pa.milesplit.com/meets/280015/. Enter 2 athletes or 1 relay per event.
On the track, a third athlete may be entered if he/she has a legitimate chance of a district qualifying time.
A third athlete in the field may be entered if they meet the following standards:
Boys Girls
SP - 41-0 28-0
DIS - 120 -0 85-0
JAV - 125-0 90-0
LJ - 20-6 15-0
TJ - 40-6 32-0
HJ - 5-10 4-8
PV - 11-0 7-0
5. Entries will be closed Monday, May 8, 2017, at 12:00 NOON. Please have your entries in by that time. Please convert any hand-held times to FAT (+.24) for seeding purposes. If you have any questions or issues about your entries, please direct them to Mike Mahoney at mike@mahoneytiming.com
6. Girls will run first, followed by the boys. In the throws and horizontal jumps, each competitor will be allowed 3 throws/jumps 8 through to finals.
7. The shot put, discus and javelin will be in 1 flight. The long and triple jumps will be using two pits (one for boys, one for girls).
