Meet Information

Course: 3.1 mile course, all grass, no repeats, very competitive, rolling , 20 feet wide start to finish. Our course has been measured and ranked in top 5 courses in the east on the basis of a challenging cross country course. We also host the NCAA Northeast Div. III Regional meet on a regular basis. We also host the Mid Penn League Championships, and District III Championships. Remember we dont spell cross country (t-r-a-c-k), a cross country course is suppose to be competitive and challenging. Not flat and fast.

The Ben Bloser Invitational is sanctioned through PIAA, and National Federation.

Course: Big Spring Meet Course - High School (3.1 miles);Middle School (3,000 Meters)

Time: 7:00 am - 9:00 a.m. Walk course

9:00 a.m. Middle School Girls

9:45 a.m. Middle School Boys

10:30 a.m. Class A & AA Girls Combined

11:15 a.m. Class A & AA Boys Combined

12:00 noon Class AAA Girls

12:45 p.m. Class AAA Boys

1:30 p.m. JV Girls

2:15 p.m. JV Boys

Entry Fee:High School Teams:$125.00 for Girls Team (7 varsity runners/unlimited JV runners)

$125.00 for Boys Team (7 varsity runners/unlimited JV runners)

(both teams $250.00) $10.00 for individuals

This entry fee also applies if you run all your runners in the JV Race

Middle School Teams: $75.00 for Girls Team - $75.00 for Boys Team (both teams $150.00)

$10.00 for individuals.No 9th grade runners in Middle School races. Middle School teams can

Consist of only 7th and 8th graders. No exceptions.

after Sept 10 no exceptions. Any corrections can be made by Sept. 10,

Team Awards:

1st and 2nd Place Team Trophies in classes AAA, AA, and A,

and Middle School girls and boys races.

Medals for first thirty (30) places for Girls and Boys AAA, AA, A, JV and

Middle School Races.

Middle School Awards will be awarded after Girls A girls race starts,

Class A after Girls Class AA race starts

Class AA after Girls AAA starts and AAA after Girls JV Starts.



Rules: National Federation Rule Book, Teams may enter complete Girls and Boys Team Roster, but only 7 Runners may run in varsity races. The rest of your team can compete in JV races.



Race Scoring: Races will be scored using Computer Chips and computers.



No Dressing Facilities: Rest Rooms will be open at the High School for Runners,

Coaches and Fans



T-Shirts

To guarantee your school to be listed on the invitational t-shirt, you must

have school submitted by Sept 5.



Short sleeve t-shirts $20.00

Long sleeve t-shirts $25.00

Shirts will be in sm, md, lg, xLg.

You can also email a Team Pre-order if you would like.



You may also come view or jog the course Friday Sept 14. After 3:15 p.m.
