Their time of 7:44.39 was 2nd to Manchester(JA) 7:43.22. Swenson won the girls Tri-State 4x100 with a time of 48.14. Derek Horton, Kane, won the HS pole vault with a jump of 15-9. Derek Hynes, CB South, was 3rd with a vault of 15-1. Matthew Kahn, Fox Chapel, won the HS Discus with a throw of 173-5. Doug Moppert, Malvern Prep, was 3rd in the long jump with a leap of 23-4. Jermaine Lowery, Father Judge, finished 2nd in the 400 Hurdles with a time of 52.68. Twin brother Jerome Lowery finished 5th with a time of 54.14. Gratz's Frank Wainwright finished 4th with a time of 54.07. Altoona Area won their 4x400 heat with a time of 3:23.45. Hempfield won their heat with a time of 3:24.83. Lancaster Catholic won their heat with a time of 3:32.05. Wilson was 3rd in their heat with a time of 3:27.57. Harrisburg was 4th in their heat with a time of 3:21.78. FRIDAY: Germantown Friends won the Championship of America DMR with a team effort and a 2:05 last 800 from Max Kaulbach. Their official time was 10:11.54. Mark Dennin then added to the PA glory, winning the 3000 with a 11 second PR of 8:30.11. North Penn was the 7th qualifier for the Championship of America 4x800 with a time of 7:52.33. Gwynedd Mercy finished 9th in the 4x800 with a time of 9:09.67. Council Rock North was 10th with a time of 9:10.28. Eric Brittingham, Methacton, finished 2nd in the Javelin with a throw of 201-04. THURSDAY: In the 3000, Megan Lutz finished 6th in 9:50.62. Neshannock's Kacey Gibson was 10th with a time of 9:56.53. Karen Shump was 2nd in the shot put at 47-2. Chester ran the fastest PA 4x400, winning the Suburban A race with a time of 3:51.95. Central Bucks East won the Suburban National 4x400 in a time of 3:54.40. West Catholic won the Philadelphia Catholic 4x400 in 3:54.98. Paul Robeson won the Philadelphia Public 4x400 in 3:55.99. Abby Schaffer, Easton, won the pole vault with a meet record vault of 13-00.75, bettering the mark held by former teammate Lindsey Regan. Victoria Worthen, Council Rock South, was 2nd with a vault of 12-00.50. Methacton's Ryann Krais came in as defending champ in the high school 400 hurdles, and repeated in 59.62. Cardinal O'Hara's Robyn Oakley took 2nd from an earlier heat, running 1:01.43. Strath Haven's Alix Williams was 5th in 1:02.41. State College's Chloe Schmidt was 8th in the mile with a time of 5:00.79. Downingtown East finished 10th in the DMR with a time of 12:10.60. Shannon Daniels , Central Bucks East, jumped 17-06.75 to finish 10th in the long jump. Joelle Neilson, Girls High, was 4th in the triple jump with a leap of 38-08.75. In the 4x800 trails, Gwynedd Mercy (9:09.61) and Council Rock North (9:14.53), advanced. Council Rock North was the last qualifier.
