The meet will be live streamed via the link below. It will go live on 2/7 at 3pm. Meet starts at 4pm.
*Covid updates - Athletes may compete with their mask off, but must have their mask on while not competing.
Germantown Academy is hosting our last Shot Put Only Meet of the season, Feb 7th!
Events: Shot Put (Girls followed by Boys)
Where: Germantown Academy Field House.When: Monday, February 7th, ALL ENTRIES IN BY February 2nd by 11pm. Meet begins at 4:00 pm (You may arrive at 2:45 or after 3:15).
How to participate: Contact meet director Steve Moll (steven.moll@germantownacademy.org) to express interest or login directly on milesplit and register your individuals.
Other information: Meet will be livestreamed. $10 per entry ($15 if requesting entry after registration has closed, Feb 2nd). You may pay at the meet, cash or check made out to - Germantown Academy, or send the check by mail. Snacks and drinks will be for sale at the venue, and unique Meet T-shrits will be available $15 each.
Parking - You can park in the Patriot Lot, or in the Main lot. Map link is attached below:
Schools may send as many athletes as they like, but if the meet gets too large we will stop accepting entries (due to covid protocols). In the event that this happens we will close registration and/or communicate with you.
Fieldhouse is mondo, rubber surface. This is the surface that you will throw on.
Order of Events: 4:00 pm - Shot put - Girls followed by boys. Three throws. Top 8 go to finals. Athletes can begin warming up at 3:15. You may arrive at the FIeld House at 2:45, or after 3:15. Note: Between the time 2:45-3:15 we have dismissal so it is very crowded. We advise that you avoid that chunk of time. Parking will become much more available after 3:15.
Registration closes Feb 2nd at 11pm. Should you miss the deadline, you may register late per athlete, $15 (if there is still room). Entries need to be in for seeding.
