SUBURBAN AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Friday and Saturday:

There will be a full contingent of PIAA officials. Schools will provide a back-up timer in

case of FAT malfunction. Schools must also provide workers to do things such as

raking, tape pulling, etc. An email has previously been sent requesting worker

names and preferred events.

Opening

heights: Girls Pole Vault 6"0"; Girls High Jump 4'2"; Boys Pole Vault 8'0"; Boys High Jump: 5'2". These numbers can be adjusted by the games committee in case of inclement weather.

NOTE: All

team rosters and entries will be made by going online at http://milesplit.us/meets no later than 11:59 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. It is imperative that this be done by the coach. The meet director will no longer be entering the names and performances of the athletes. This is the coach's responsibility. If you enter a hand time, add .24.

NOTE: Each school will be guaranteed 2 athletes per event (1 relay team). You may enter more than 2 BUT after clerking in, the field will be cut to 24 for the running events and 24 for the field events.

NOTE: Coaches

MUST email Ron Lopresti (ronlop@msn.com), Rob Dominick (rdominick@lmtsd.org), and Mike Devitt (mdevitt@udsd.org) with their division record (Boys and Girls) by Tuesday,

May 6, 2025. Sportsmanship votes will also be sent to Rob and Mike at this

time.

We will add 8 points for each dual meet win, 4 points for a tie, and 0 points for a loss to the score from the meet.

SCORING: Since

we have only 6 teams in each division, scoring will be for 6 places only (10,

8, 6, 4, 2, 1) with 5 places in the relays, NFHS Rule 2, Art. 2. Therefore,

in the field events, 7 will advance to the finals.In the 100, 200, 100/110 H, we will advance 6

to the finals, since we are on a 6-lane track. All other events will be final

on time.

Implement

weighing: All implements will be weighed in on

Friday at 2:00 PM. Pole vaulters will NOT weigh in. 

Pole vault certification forms must be turned in by the

coaches to the PV officials each day.
