PERFORMANCE LIST

Tamaqua will be hosting their annual Blue Raider Invite this Friday and there should be lots to watch for, particularly in the field.

Indoor state champion, Emily Stauffer of Cocalico, headlines the throws. The senior will be making her first invitational appearance of the outdoor season and she is entered in both the shot put and discus.

PA#3 in the javelin, Morgan Boyle of Tamaqua will square off with Mount Carmel's Maura Fiamoncini in the event. PA#4 Kayla Merkel of Hazelton and PA#5 Autumn Cope of Jim Thorpe are also in the field, making this one of the most hotly contested events of the afternoon.

Salisbury's Lindsay Bauer leads the jumps. She's favored in both the long and triple jumps, where she's already had a tremendous start to her season.

On the boys' side, Jim Thorpe's Rayan Green started his invite season off well with a 46-3 and PA#1 in the triple jump last week and he'll look to do more of the same on Friday as the top seed in the event. In the high jump, Shamokin's Chris Petraskie will look to move up the in state rankings. He's also entered in the 300m hurdles and the triple jump.

Dylan Bucior of Jim Thorpe is entered in both the 800 and 1600 meter races. He'll be favored likely in those races. Mount Carmel's David Fletcher (PA#1 1600m) will step down in distance for the 400, where he's the top seed.

Shenandoah Valley's Kyle Guers will be the top seed and one to watch in the 110 meter hurdles.
