D11 A Girls Preseason Team Rankings
Notre Dame East Stroudsburg took the district crown last year behind a solid 1:49 1-5 gap. They return four of the six girls from that district title team last year, including top girl and rising sophomore Claudia O'Donnell.
Minersville should pose a good challenge to the champs. They return six of seven from the second place squad last year. They are led up front by Kaylene Raczka and Autumn Pedron. Pine Grove Area should be up there, too. They return their whole top three from last year, led by senior McKayla Lally. Mahanoy Area and leader Megan Babinsky should contend for this title, too.
Marian Catholic has the Capparell sisters, but they'll need to find a strong 3-5 to contend with the top teams. The key for any of these teams will be that, in fact. Who can put together the best group of supporting harriers and minimize points from the fourth and fifth runners.
