AA Boys | Bradford-Clearfield should be tight!
D9-AA Boys Preseason Team Rankings
Bradford Area nipped Clearfield Area for the District 9 AA title by four points. With nearly everybody back from last year, it should be another good old fashion battle between the district's top teams.
Bradford boasts the favorite for the individual title in Logan Caruso, but the race will be won behind him for that precious state team spot. The name of the game for these two teams will be peaking on the right day. Have a look below at the results from last year's district meet to tell the story:
Reverse a couple of those positions and we have a different team booking a trip to Hershey. Bradford loses the graduated Tyler Nuzzo, but returns sophomore Vinnie Bizzarro and juniors Cade Hayden and Jacob Yost.
Meanwhile, Clearfield has all seven back from last year and they'll rely on a tighter gap to take down the defending champs. Ryan Chew and Alex Coval will look to lead the way for them. We're in for a battle here!
Punxsutawney Area isn't a team to sleep on either. They return Ethan Brentham, who had a fantastic freshman year in 2015 as well as Jake Dinger. They must establish a stronger 3-4-5 to contend with the two favorites though.
