A Boys | Southern Fulton favored to repeat at D5 champs
D5-A Girls Preseason Team Rankings
Southern Fulton scored just 23 points to win the District 5 A championship last year, earning them a trip to the state meet. Defending individual champ Jacob Pryor is gone, but they still have a good group of returners back for 2016, making them the favorites.
Charlie Varner and Ben Voight will lead the way for Southern Fulton. They were third and fourth at districts last year, respectively. The team ended up 18th in the state last year.
Windbur, led by Trenton Noon, will look to contend for that state spot along with Meyersdale.
