D3-A Boys Team Preseason Rankings

Camp Hill pulled off one of the more remarkable wins at the state meet last year, winning a super close race over Sewickley Academy, Winchester Thurston, and Northeast Bradford. It all came together at the right time for Camp Hill at states last year and the D3-A champs added a state title to a great season.

The champs did lose 2014 district champ Blake Behney and 2015 district champ Cooper Leslie this offseason, but Camp Hill still seems primed to repeat as district champs and return to Hershey in November. Runners three through six are back from last year's team. They are led up front by Ian Gabig, who was fourth in the district and 26th in the state last year. Daniel Shank will be key to their success as well. Finding a strong fifth runner is crucial if they want another high finish at states.

A good race will be on for one of the two states spots in D3-A. Tulpehocken may be the best candidate. They were second to Camp Hill at districts last year, but didn't qualify for states, so surely they are hungry this time around. Delone Catholic lost district runner-up William Greene, but they will look to add some newcomers and contend for that spot.

Kutztown may be a sleeper in this pack. They return all five runners from last year's team and will look to make an impact this year.
