The Red Devils from Central Cambria won another District 6 Class AA crown in 2016, and it may have the pieces to put together another run at a state meet qualifying season. Ohm Vyas emerged as a strong team leader last year. Nate Kuntz and Zach Brandis are coming off strong freshman seasons, and Duncan Lambie will be a junior this season, making up what should be a tight pack.
Forest Hills, led by Mitchell Chunta (above), was second to Central Cambria in D6 last year. It returns five members from last year's varsity team and could put together a good season to challenge the champs and take that state spot.
Penn Cambria has a young team going into this season that---with some improvements---will try and make make a run. Don't count out Bellefonte Area which took third in the district last season, with a soild top runner in Brett Pope.
