Individuals Breakdown: District 11 Boys

D11-A Boys - Individuals Breakdown

One of the nice surprises of last season at the District 11 meet was Wayne Reilly, a sophomore at Tri-Valley, took the win in the Class A race at Bethlehem Municipal Golf Course. Now a junior, Reilly, who competes for Minersville during the track season, won't be under the radar as much this season, but he'll surely be going for the repeat.

Mahanoy Area has a pair of runners with a shot to knock off Reilly. Adam Soriano gave him a good run last season and finished second. Look for him to be hungry for round two. Cole Striesel was third at districts last season, but finished ahead of Soriano at states. Those two will be among the lead pack for sure.

Notre Dame-East Stroudsburg's Andrew Beers had a strong season last year, and after a fourth place finish at districts, will find himself in among the leaders. Don't be surprised to see him make a play at the title. Palmerton's Jacob Martinez should also make a push for the win. The rising junior ran 4:34 for 1600 meters on the track this past spring and ran 17:46 on Hershey's course at Foundation last season.

Marian Catholic's Aaron Srinivasan and Moravian Academy's Hunter Zahm should figure into the top five conversation as well
