Individuals Breakdown: District 4 Boys

D7-A Boys - Individuals Breakdown

Northeast Bradford is looking to win its sixth straight District 4 Class A team title, but---at least up front---the August advantage goes to Southern Columbia. That's because SC brings back the top two returners from the district meet last fall.

Ethan Knoebel of Southern Columbia was third at districts last year. Before placing 62nd at states, he was registered four top ten finishes and even a win at Lock Haven. His teammate and rising senior Nick Kuzo was right behind Knoebel at districts. The pair should make for a strong duo that will be tough to beat in D4 this season.

Wellsboro Area's Aidan Perry took fifth at districts and actually beat that Southern duo at states, placing 55th in Hershey. Going into his junior season, Perry should be a factor this fall. Wyalusing Valley's Alex Patton was impressive as a freshman in 2016, placing seventh in D4 before taking 70th at states. He'll be a sophomore to look out for. South Williamsport's Tayge Molino just missed states last season, but will be a factor this year.

While Northeast Bradford loses some strength from last year, we can surely expect some runners to step up. Zak Smith was sixth at districts and 37th at states. He could very well make the jump up to D4-A champ this year.
