Individuals Breakdown: District 3 Boys

D3-AA Boys - Individuals Breakdown

Last year was an incredible junior year for Wyomissing's Joe Cullen. He immediately made an impact in XC, winning the Blue Race at PTXC 8. He then took second at Foundation's Blue Race and won the Berk County title before taking home the top district prize in D3 in Class AA. He took 15th in the state, but he showed off his versatility on the track, putting down PRs of 4:13 in the 1,600 meters and 1:53.5 in the 800 meters. He was even part of the AA state championship 4x400 meter relay.

Cullen should be a serious force in XC this season, as he aims for a senior year that's even better than his junior year.

With team goals in mind, look out for the York Suburban duo of Bryce Ohl and Jarrett Raudensky. The pair finished together to take 2-3 at the District 3 Champs. Ohl was eighth at states a week later, leading YS to a second place team finish. Both Ohl and Raudensky are back, along with seniors Josh Kerr and Tanner Haynes, and all will be in the mix for solid finishes at both districts and states.

Benjamin Reisenweaver of Schuylkill Valley, Wyatt Conrad of Hamburg Area, Chad Long of Bermudian Springs, and Rafael Mendez of Milton Hershey are part of a deep D3-AA group that you should be watching out for this fall.
