Individuals Breakdown: District 3 Boys

D3-A Boys - Individuals Breakdown

In just his first season on the XC trails last fall, Upper Dauphin's Brenden Miller emerged as one of the brightest stars in District 3. He went out hard and held on to run away with the Class A district title. He had an off day at states, but he continued his success on the track, running 9:28 for 3,200 meters on the track to take third in the state in AA.

Miller is no longer under the radar and should be one to watch, especially after a 15:46 in the 5K to close out his spring season on the track. Look for him to be a serious factor in Class A this season.

York Catholic's Evan Schlosser took sixth at districts last fall and is the next top returnee after Miller. He was 90th at states, but did run a 17:02 at Big Spring to open up his season last fall. He should be a in the mix for a high finish once again.

Noah Martin of Veritas Academy was 80th at states after placing seventh in the district. He's another one to watch this season.  Tulpehocken's Jacob Cox also ran quick early in the season at Big Spring, when he ran 17:28 at Ben Bloser. He was 15th in the district and 82nd at states, so watch out for him this season, too.

Delone Catholic's Adler Brininger was eighth in the district as a freshman. He will be looking for more this season. York Catholic's Christian Gervasi and Camp Hill's Matt Little are among the other boys to watch out for this season in D3-A.
