He was runner-up twice in District 1 Class A, but this fall, Jenkintown's Jack Miller will look to get over the hump this season and take the district title. He'll be heavily favored to do so after PennTrackXC learned that Tim Kennel, the D1-A champ from last season has transferred to Souderton Area this season.
Miller took 11th in the state last year and he'll be leading a very motivated Jenkintown squad that should make some noise not only in the district, but also the state. Miller's best challenge to the district crown will come from his teammate Joshua Jackson. Jackson also had a great finish to his season, placing third at districts and then 24th at states to earn a state medal.
Dock will turn to Isaiah Denlinger to be the No. 1 runner this season. He took sixth in the district last season. Others to watch for include Delco Christian's Charlie Schaefer, and Jenkintown's Charles Mangan and Patrick Wagner.
