PAISAA Boys - Individuals Breakdown

After a third place finish last year at PAISAAs, Jeffrey Love will go for her first XC state title this season. The George School senior earned wins at Mill Street, his home invite, and the Friends League last season. In a close battle for the PAISAA crown last year, he took bronze at Belmont Plateau.

Love will be the heavy favorite to close out his high school XC career with PAISAA gold.

Malvern Prep has a pair of up-and-comers that will look to give Love a run for his money. Collin Hess took seventh at PAISAAs last season and even dropped a 16:20 at Paul Short. He'll hope to see some good ninth-to-tenth grade progression. Another one to watch for is Zachary Brill, who was 11th as an eighth grader last season. He, too, should also make a nice jump this season.

Germantown Friends' Miles Gomez-Younkin was ninth last season. Now a rising senior, Gomez-Younkin will look to challenge for a spot inside the top five. The same goes for Matt Sandifer of Germantown Academy. He took tenth last season, and he'll come in as the top returning junior in the PAISAA.
