After Max Miller self charged a fast first mile, it was Henok Hagos (San Antonio Jefferson) taking control and withstood some serious challenges.

Hagos assumed control of the race with Benjamin Montgomery (Bridgeland) and Hudson Haley (Austin Vandegrift) giving chase. After the second mile, Montgomery was pressing Hagos with Haley close behind.

Haley is becoming know for his second-half race hurry of a pace was on the hunt and managed to move past Montgomery, but not Hagos.

Hagos held on for his second big meet win, tagging the McNeil onto the MileSplit TX XC Inv.;is winning time was 15:16.

Haley was two second behind in 15:18 and Montgomery crossing in 15:21. Wrapping up the top-five places was Alexis Rodriguez (Edinburg North) with his finishing time of 15:25 and Neeraj Kulkarni (Frisco Lebanon Trail) in 15:26.
