The Avon Grove Indoor track team is looking forward to a great Indoor season. Practice starts November 19th. Our first Indoor meet will be on December 11th, 2010 at the Maroon and Gold Invitational at Kutztown University. Hope to see you all there to support the AGHS Indoor track and Feild Team.

After a tedious morning taking the SAT's Avon Grove's Zach Connor came out to the Unionville Invitational in Kennett Square, PA and broke both the meet record and the school record in the Pole Vault. The Avon Grove Men's team posted a 2 place finsih out of 20 teams attending at the University Of Delaware Holiday classic. It is the best team finsih in an Indoor meet since the 2001-2002 season. Kyle Landis took 2 in the hurdles and 3rd in the High Jump. Zach Conner broke the Indoor school Record with a pole vault Jump of 13 feet even. The Red Devils kicked off their 2009 Spring season by taking 3rd at the Phoenix Relays. The team of Cherrnor Malekani, Chas Barna, Kevin Connor, and Bobby Knabb set the standard for 2009 at 8:40.

Senior Ben Jackson jumped a personal best 42' 7.5" on Thursday, May 8th at the Ches-Mont Championships to qualify for the District #1 Track Meet being held at Coatesville on Friday and Saturday, May 16th & 17th.
