Week 1 is in the books and the top 50 lists already have familiar names at the top!

Dominic Hockenbury has surged to the top of the boys list as the first sub 16 minute performer this season. The junior was dominant in his debut at the Cliff Robbins Invitational with a winning time of 15:51. That marker will make him a big favorite at this weekend's PTXC 6 competition at Kutztown University. Jake Brophy of Central Bucks East got off to a solid start at the John Sharp Invitational on Friday. Despite running faster at that meet in defeat last year, his victory in 16:05 suggests that he's still going to have a big season. Will Kachman of Bedford, Noah Smith of Ringgold, and Alex Fitch of Liberty all ran 16:20 or faster on their way to their first wins of the new season.
