Pennsylvania boys rank 18th in the nation in cross country!

Like their female counterparts, Pennsylvania boys cross country is ranked in the top 20 in America!

MileSplit's rankings by state places Pennsylvania 18th out of 51 "teams" and are 4th in the Mid Atlantic/Northeast behind New York, New Jersey, and Virginia.

AAA state champion and state course record holder Jake Brophy scored 18 points for PA with his 15:08 SOL league title performance last October at Lehigh. New Balance 2 mile All American Nick Dahl of Germantown Friends scored 96 points with his sub 15:30 performance down in North Carolina.

Downingtown West senior and AAA 1600 meter state champion Jaxson Hoey scored 101 points with his Briarwood performance, the 3rd fastest in course history. Class A star Griffin Mackey of Sewickley Academy scored 145 points with his 15:37 personal best last December. AA state contender Matt Kravitz of North Pocono scored 154 points with his 15:39 rounds out the top five.

PA's number 6 and 7 spots belong to the scoring seven is District 3 champion Zach Seiger's bronze medal performance at Carlisle for 165 points and.AA state champion Dominic Hockenbury of Lake Lehman (188 points).
