Team Division Rankings: Week 2

We are two weeks into the season and a trio of defending champions are off to flying starts!

AAA boys champions North Allegheny got their title defense off on the right foot with another win at the Red White and Blue Invitational. Despite graduating the top three, they inserted a solid top four that can keep the champions in contention for another title this season.

The Class A boys champions Winchester Thurston finished 3rd in the AAA race at Red White and Blue with 139 points, with only North Allegheny and Mount Lebanon finishing ahead of them.

The AA girls champions were absolutely on fire in the same meet, recording a 30 second 1-5 spread and a 31 second 1-6 spread in the AAA Red White and Blue girls race to score 32 points and win by nearly 100.

Catch them if you can!

Easton girls moved to the top of the AAA rankings thanks to their PTXC 7 Gold race title win. They have six runners under 21 minutes in the early going. Holy Ghost Prep are off to their typical good start, topping the AA boys list with seven sub 17:45 runners. Their goal is to translate this early success to a district title and a state meet berth, something that has eluded them in the past 3 years.

St Joseph's Catholic Academy were victorious at the Lock Haven Invite during the opening weekend and they boast a top two under 20 minutes each. Kiski Prep lead the Independents with a strong top three, while Germantown Academy's dual meet win against Plymouth Whitemarsh put them on top of the girls list!
