Class A Report Week 4: New girls leader, team state champions keep chase pack at bay

Winchester Thurston boys competed in the white race at Foundation and took care of business after running in the AAA race at Red White and Blue in early September. They scored 101 points to defeat Camp Hill and Sewickley Academy. Northeast Bradford were victorious in New York at the Owego Invitational with a 10 point victory.

The girls title chase got a little closer. Central Cambria did win the Foundation meet, but it was a close win of under 20 points against Vincentian Academy. St Joseph's Catholic Academy finished 3rd in the race, but the title run for the champions Central Cambria stays on its unbeaten path. Laurel finished 4th at the Sharpsville Invitational, missing out on 3rd place by a single point.
