South Jersey Shootout
For the boys individually Mark Miller of Shawnee ran the fastest time with his 16:17 win in the Stud Race. This was the senior's first time competing at this event.
When you look at the team score merge Delsea ran away with the competition. They ranked first with 51 points an average of 16:54 and a boast worthy top five split of 41 seconds! Delsea was led by junior George Tenneberg who ran the fourth fastest time overall at 16:31.
On the girls side a familiar face, Alyssa Aldridge ran the fastest time of the day with an 18:27. She has won this race all three years she's competed.
A new face ran the second fastest time, Toms River North's freshmen Jade Tricomy posted a 19:01. Her performance led the Toms River North squad to the best team ranking on the merge scoring 57 points and averaging 20:05.
