We haven't seen much of the Dallastown girls' team. But when we have seen them, they've really stepped up.

Emily Schuler took second place for the second time this season to lead her PA#10 Dallastown team to the win. Isabella Wise took seventh and Allison Myers was ninth. Lydia Fimmano and Sarah Groetz were 14th and 15th respectively as D'Town scored just 43 points in victory.

Dallastown took second at the Ben Bloser Bulldog Invitational at Big Spring last month to PA#2 Manheim Township. Schuler was second in that race to Chambersburg's Abby Yourkavitch. On Saturday, Schuler took second to Hereford's Kelly Wesolowski. Schuler's time was 18:40 to Wesolowski's 18:06.

Northern, led by Marlee Starliper, who took third overall in 18:53, took third as a team behind Dallastown and runners-up Hereford.

Camp Hill's Ian Gabig (above) was the first PA runner across the line in the boys' race. Gabig took second to pre-race favorite John Delaney of John Handley High School (Virginia). The Camp Hill senior held off Broadneck (MD)'s Paul Squires to take the runner-up spot in 16:28.

Dallastown's Patrick Jacobson took fifth in a time of 16:38 and Mifflin County's Chayce Macknair was sixth in 16:44.

Broadneck took the team title with 69 points over second place Mountain View. Mifflin County was third and Dallastown was fourth.
