5/1-Harrisburg relays pop state-best 4x200 and 4x400 @ Cedar Cliff Relays

The Harrisburg's boys are tuning up their relays, and Saturday took over one state-leading spot and tied another. Their 4x400 went 3:19.8, just edging Central Dauphin at 3:20.1. Both bettered Glen Mills' Penn Relays time. Six teams bettered 3:28. The Courgar's 4x200 also matched Bensalem's state-leading time of 1:28.6, winning by over eight seconds. Harrisburg led five other teams under 1:32.1. Cumberland Valley and Cedar Cliff posted strong 4x1600 times of 17:46.0 and 17:49.8. Ryan Whiting improved his PA #2 standing in the Shot Put with a throw of 63-01. The Altoona girls bettered the Central PA hosts in the 4x400 with a 4:00.6 4x400. And Cedar Cliff beat both Cumberland Valley and Harrisburg in the 4x200, going 1:47.0.
