5/8-Wray-Brown battle to one win each; Syrnick, Williams, Gray, McDonald double winners @ L. Merion

Central's Mike Wray and Plymouth-Whitemarsh's Ozzie Brown traded wins, with Wray getting the 14.85-14.98 nod in the 110 Hurdles, and Brown returning the favor 39.19-39.38 in the 300 version. Brown also long-jumped 19-09 for 2nd. North Penn set a meet record of 7:58.06 for the 4x800. They also took the 4x400 in 3:25.07. Mike Syrnick doubled, taking the 1600 in 1:57.05 and the four-lapper in 4:22.39. On the girls' side, Chanel Williams of the host school, won the 200 in 25.27 and the 300 hjurdles in 4.68. She also cleared 5-01 for the High Jump win. Unionville junior Katie Thaeder posted a quick 5:04.15 1600. Conestoga ran 3:39.73 for the 4x400. Tayvon Gray, Coatesville, won two, the Shot and Discus, while Phoenixville's Crista McDonald took the Jav and Pole Vault.
