Quarzo set the stage in a big way and opened up the day two of the state meet with a big record right off the bat with the first final of the day. The junior went straight to the front and never had to look back from there. Quarzo, with the crowd behind her the whole time, rolled to a solo effort of 10:25.91, breaking Seymour's 11-year-old AA time.
It was the second straight title in the event for Quarzo, who has proven to be a beast on the track. And she'll be back to defend that title once again next year!
