Top 50 Freshmen Boys Distance Times From The Past Decade

Who were the top freshman distance runners over the past decade? We looked at which ninth graders posted the fastest times in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and mile in outdoor track from 2010 to 2019.

Cole Walker (above) of Unionville went 9:29 for 3,200 meters in 2017 as a freshman. He's one of many that made a nice impact out of the gates as a ninth grader.
