One of the best races of the day at Wednesday's Robert J. Burdette Classic was the girls' 4x200m relay, which brought out a pair of the state's top relays in the early part of the season. In a great race at Lehigh, North Penn out-dueled Great Valley for the win.
North Penn went 1:49.15 to edge out Great Valley at the line, which ran a time of 1:49.26. Both relays were pretty much even throughout, with GV holding a slight advantage on the last exchange. But North Penn made some moves, and completed the pass on the homestretch to take a narrow victory by just .11.
North Penn moves up to PA No. 2 with that performance. Great Valley is right behind them at PA No. 3. Friends' Central's 1:46.86 from a few weeks ago sits at PA No. 1. Check out the state rankings here.
