The College Rundown - NCAA Womens Teams

Week three of the 2023 collegiate cross country season is underway. Here's what you need to know about NCAA womens cross country this weekend.

Division I | Division II | Division III

The Division I Ranks

Penn and Villanova are the Main Line Invitational teams to watch, Lehigh and Lafayette are set to face off in a Patriot League dual meet, and much more will take place this weekend in DI XC

The Main Line Invitational:

Penn's fabulous five front runners (Maeve Stiles, Olivia Morganti, Katie Pou, Kyra Compton, and Fabianna Szorenyi) will surely put on a show at the Main Line Invitational. After their 1-5 sweep at the Lehigh Invitational two weeks ago, it'll be no surprise if we witness similar domination at Saturday's contest.

As for Villanova, we expect to see Kinsey Pogue and Elizabeth Vaughn as two front runners for the Wildcats. Both women had strong season openers at the Temple Owls Cross Country Invitational, with Pogue running 15:16.9 and Vaughn running 15:39.8 for 4k.

Lehigh VS. Lafayette Dual Meet:

Lehigh and Lafayette will face off in a Patriot League dual meet on Saturday morning. The Lehigh women will be looking to make the season score 2-0 over Lafayette this season after already beating them at the Harry Lang Invitational. Impressively, the squad from Lehigh beat Lafayette after running another meet the day prior. Lehigh is the sure favorite for Saturday's competition.

Other meets/teams to watch:

Robert Morris will host the RMU Invitational on Saturday, with Bucknell listed to compete. Duquesne is the only other DI PA team in action this weekend and will travel out of state for the National Catholic Invitational at Notre Dame.
