Boys' Notes and Ones to Watch

1A Boys - 11:00 AM

Qualifying - 2 Teams and 10 Individuals

Individuals: Creed Dewing (Northeast Bradford) will attempt a title defense. Oliver Heintzelman (Northwest), last years runner-up will challenge Dewing again in 2023. Also watch Michael Fritz (Northwest).

Teams: Northeast Bradford (2022 Champions), Towanda (2022 Runner-ups), Troy, Northwest Area.

2A Boys - 11:45 AM

Qualifying - 2 Teams and 10 Individuals

Individuals: Jonathan Hess (Lewisburg) finished third at last years Championship. He is coming off a win at the SHIK/PHAC Invitational. Dane Spahr (Danville), Ryan Bickhart (Milton), and Kieran Murray (Lewisburg) are right there with him.

Teams: Lewisburg (2022 Champions), Danville (2022 Runner-Ups), Milton Area

Girls' Notes and Ones to Watch

1A Girls - 9:30 AM

Qualifying - 2 Teams and 10 Individuals

Individuals: Kate Moncavage (Southern Columbia) is looking to win her third straight district title. Gracelyn Laudermilch may challenge her.

Teams: Northeast Bradford recently defeated Mansfield and Wyalusing Valley at the NTL Coaches Invitational. Mansfield was only 6-points back. These three teams are in a dogfight for the two available qualifying spots.

2A Girls - 10:15 AM

Qualifying - 2 Teams and 10 Individuals

Individuals: Baylee Espinosa (Lewisburg) is the favorite to defend her district title. Others to watch include Claire Dufrene (Warrior Run), Victoria Bartholomew (Danville), Odin Ryer (Danville) and Hannah Bartholomew (Danville)

Teams: The PA #2 Danville girls are one of the best teams in the state. They'll look to defend their district title before they begin their chase for a state title. Lewisburg, Warrior Run and Athens Area are in contention for the second qualifying spot.
