THE T&FCAofGP MEET #4

LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS AIRING ON JANUARY 6th

The T&FCAofGP Meet #4 is set for Saturday, January 6th. The event will be streamed on MileSplit, with archived footage being posted after the event HERE. The meet is currently scheduled to begin at 8:30 AM.

Events to Watch:

1. The 60m Dash

Jaylen Foster (Wissahickon) is slated to headline the 60m dash. Foster has already run 6.98 this season, winning the TFCAofGP Meet #2 in the process. He has posted a number of low 7-marks as well, but he'll look to make it two sub-7 runs in-a-row.

Behind him, Mason Scott (Spring Ford) will run the 60m for the first time this year. He has run the 55m dash twice, running as fast a 6.55 to finish fourth at the Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival. He may contend with Foster for the win.

2. The 200m Dash

Abaas Hunter (Episcopal Academy) will run the 200m for the first time this year. The sophomore finished 12th at the PTFCA Indoor State Championship last year and has an indoor personal best of 21.97 in the event.

3. The 400m Dash

This should be a good one. Stefon Dodoo (Springside Chestnut Hill), Ahijah Goins (Haverford School) and Elijah Smith (Upper Dublin) are all seeded right around each other.

Dodoo will be the favorite. Outdoors, Dodoo ran 47.41 to finish second at the AAU Junior Olympic Games. Throughout the season he posted a number of runs in the 48's. He also has a 1:50.88 800m personal best, so he certainly has the strength to go the distance.

4. The Shot Put

With Jalen Gaymon (North Penn), Will Cipollone (Malvern Prep), Alphonso Koukou (Episcopal Academy) and Luke Ellor (Spring Ford) all scheduled to throw, the Shot Put competition should heat up quickly in the Lehigh Valley.

All four have personal best throws over 50-feet and it will come down to the very last attempt for these few. Who will steal the show and score an impressive 50+ foot victory?
