One of Pennsylvania's best, challenged the nation's best in a 400m duel at the East Coast International Showcase on Saturday.
Though Quincy Wilson (Bullis) made up the stagger quickly, Jayden Horton-Mims (Imhotep) responded to Wilson's early move and gave him a challenge down the stretch. Wilson ran a personal best 45.17, while Horton-Mims crossed the line in 45.82.
Wilson's run was a US No. 8 All-Time mark, while Horton-Mims managed to hit a PA No. 2 All-Time Mark. Only William Reed (Central) has run faster, 45.17 in 1987.
Ade Lloyd (Harriton) was also in the race and posted a 48.60 to finish ninth overall.
